BINTULU: Naim Land Sdn Bhd, which is a fully owned company of Naim Holdings Bhd and is one of the renowned contractors and developers in Malaysia, signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Telekom Malaysia (TM) for the exclusive service of UniFi for the integrated development of Bintulu Paragon.
The signing ceremony was carried out by Naim deputy director of management Christina Wong and Real Estate and Investment Trust and Property Investment chief executive officer Yong Kei Seng representing Naim Land Sdn Bhd while TM was represented by TM Sarawak general manager Sarbini Hamdan and TM Sarawak deputy general manager Jafer Sadig Abdul Latiff and was witnessed by Bintulu Development Authority (BDA) general manager Datu Mohidin Ishak.
The signing ceremony was also held in conjunction with the Bintulu Paragon Chinese New Year celebrations at the Old Bintulu Airport Site on Sunday.
Christina said that this cooperation would bring added value in making Bintulu Paragon a more energetic, contemporary and new metropolis which would be capable of being the mainframe of connectivity in Bintulu.
“Internet is part of life in the modern world today, and therefore wifi is no longer considered a luxury but more of a necessity. Through this cooperation, we are capable of providing high speed Internet connection for the landowners of Bintulu Paragon.
“This also confirms our commitment in making Bintulu Paragon the number one in Bintulu and we thank TM for this effort,” she said.
Meanwhile, Sarbini said that they were extremely happy to work with Naim.
“With this cooperation, Bintulu Paragon is the first developer in Bintulu which has UniFi coverage. As a high speed Internet conenction, UniFi will bring added value to all aspects be it way of life, business or leisure. In the modern day, internet connection is everything,” he said.
