New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday wished the people of Algeria on their Independence Day.
The official Twitter account of the Prime Minister`s Office shared his message.
"My best wishes to the people of Algeria on their Independence Day. We consider Algeria a valued friend with whom we have strong ties: PM," it posted.
"I hope our relations with Algeria become even stronger in the coming years: PM @narendramodi," it added.
Algeria observes 5 July as its Independence Day, commemorating the nation`s independence from France colonisation in 1962.
