Datum Phase Change Ltd are pleased to announce the signing of distribution agreements with Dutch company Green Innovations BV to sell ThermaCool® Phase Change Material (PCM) products exclusively in The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Green Innovations BV was founded in 2009 to introduce new and innovative energy related technologies within the construction industry for the Benelux markets and see huge potential in ThermaCool® ceiling tiles in commercial and educational markets within their region.

The market potential for ThermaCool® Ceiling tiles incorporating phase change materials (pcms) in the UK and Europe, as well as globally, is immense as it addresses some of the fundamental problems of existing or new modern buildings such as overheating and the high energy demands for mechanical space cooling that architects and M&E consultants are having to now address.

ThermaCool® textured and acoustic ceiling tiles have the ability to passively absorb huge amounts of heat from within the building that is attributable to heat gains from occupants, lighting, computers and solar and in doing so will significantly improve the thermal comfort for the building users. Incorporating phase change products such as the ThermaCool® Ceiling Tile or ThermaCool® Panel, gives buildings thermal mass that may otherwise be non-existent if constructed of modern lightweight methods or lost as a result of improved internal insulation measures.
