Denver International Airport’s overall passenger traffic decreased 0.7 percent in May from the same month a year earlier, mostly due to a decrease in seat capacity from Frontier Airlines, the airport reported Wednesday.

DIA had 4,532,025 passengers in May, according to a report, which was an increase from April. Airlines that experienced increases in traffic were United Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines.

The airport’s international traffic increased to 183,627 from 182,691 in May 2014.

“We are continuing to see strong passenger growth from the majority of the airlines at Denver International Airport,” said DIA chief executive Kim Day in a statement. “In particular, United and Southwest continue to show trend setting passenger growth, and the summer is off to a healthy start.”
