Eldon J. Moran

NEWFIELDS – Eldon J. Moran, of Newfields passed away on Thursday, Nov. 27 at the age of 81.

He was born on April 10, 1933 in Pittsburgh, Penn., the son of the late Eldon A. and Anna P. (Sommers) Moran.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Peggy Moran of Newfields; seven children, Douglas Moran of Framingham, Mass.; Michael Moran and his wife Michele of Sturbridge, Mass.; Joyce McCarthy and her husband Ed of Framingham, Mass.; Steven Moran of Marlborough, Mass.; David Moran and his wife Judy of Framingham, Mass.; Lisa Lewis and her husband William of Plaistow; and Alexander Moran of Boston, Mass.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his sister, Shirley McGinnity and husband Bob of Pittsburgh, Penn.; his former wife, Arlene Moran of Framingham, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial service for Eldon will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014 at Phillips Church, located at 61 Front St. in Exeter.
