Winnebago starts offering RV insurance

Winnebago Industries is expanding beyond the physical production of its well-known motorhomes.

The Forest City-based recreational vehicle manufacturer has started offering its own insurance coverage for the vehicles. Winnebago has partnered with Farm and City Insurance Services to provide the insurance, the company said in a statement.

The company said all RV brands are eligible for a no-obligation quote.

Shares of Winnebago closed up 15 cents to $19.68 Tuesday.
