Fishers approves deal with Jarden Home Brands

The Fishers Town Council has approved plans for a consumer retail company that wants to open a regional headquarters site on East 121st Street.

Jarden Home Brands, a subsidiary of Jarden Corp., will take over the former Sony building at 9999 E. 121st St. The council green-lighted an economic development agreement for the company Monday.

Jarden Home Brands is expected to bring about 300 jobs to Fishers by 2019. Jarden plans to begin construction in August. The company will invest $21.9 million in the property. The town has agreed to give the company a $1.1 million incentive package.
