Transportation stocks rose broadly on Wall Street so far on Tuesday, with the sector seeing an overall increase of 0.9%.

More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 0.4%, the Nasdaq increased 0.7% and the S&P 500 rose 0.4%.

Some of the biggest gainers among transportation stocks include:

• Gol Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (GOL): GOL stock is up 7.8% today.

• Greenbrier Companies (GBX): GBX stock is up 4.4% today.

• China Eastern Airlines Corp Ltd (CEA): CEA stock is up 3.4% today.

• Guangshen Railway Company (GSH): GSH stock is up 2.8% today.

• American Railcar Industries (ARII): ARII stock is up 3.4% today.

• Spirit Airlines Inc (SAVE): SAVE stock is up 1.5% today and up 21.6% in the last month.

• China Southern Airlines Company (ZNH): ZNH stock is up 2.1% today.

• Wabtec Corp (WAB): WAB stock is up 3.3% today.

• Golar Lng Limited (GLNG): GLNG stock is up 2.3% today.

• Seacor Smit Inc (CKH): CKH stock is up 1.8% today.

Only one stock in the transportation sectors showed losses:

• Seaspan Corp (SSW): SSW stock is down 0.1%, marking the third consecutive day the stock has decreased.
