SCHOONER FREEDOM MEMORIAL DAY SAILS: St. Augustine's premier tall ship, the Schooner Freedom, will set sail on Memorial Day weekend for four special tours. The sails on the Matanzas River casts off at 12:15 p.m. for an 1.5 hour sail. The cost is $25 for adults and $10 for kids. A 2-hour cruise sets off at 2:15 p.m. The cost is $35 for adults and $25 for kids. Docked at the St. Augustine City Marina, El Galeón Andalucia is open for daily tours from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. El Galeón is an exact replica of the famous galleons that played an important role in the creation and maintenance of the Spanish Empire. It is similar to the galleon that brought Pedro Menendez to Florida where he founded St. Augustine in 1565. MUSKET FIRING DEMONSTRATIONS: Re-enactors will fire flintlock muskets at Fort Matanzas National Monument from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Admission is free including the ferry ride to and from the island. RIDING INTO HISTORY: For the 16th straight year, Riding Into History, a world class Vintage Motorcycle Concours d'Elegance, returns to World Golf Village, One World Golf Place. The event will feature hundreds of classic American motorcycles along the Village's Walk of Champions. Vendors, exhibitors and entertainment will be included. Gates open at 10 a.m. Admission is $10.

FAMILY SEINING: GTM Research Reserve docents will host a family seining event from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Participants will learn how to pull a seine net collecting species of fish and crabs, and their roles in the habitat. 'THE TUNNEL': An outdoor scene will be shot for "The Tunnel" musical. Children, teenagers and parents should arrive at 1:45 p.m. to be cast in a scene involving Mrs. Wright, a former agnostic as she gives a report to the concerned waiting crowd on the lead character of the musical, 14 year-old Gretchen who is in a coma. The character of Mrs. Wright will be played by professional actress, Josie Rosler. A few lines will be awarded to the parents or children who arrive first. MEMORIAL DAY OBSERVANCE: The Ancient City Chapter of the Military Officers Association of American and the Florida National Guard will host the annual Memorial Day Ceremony at 10 a.m. at the National Cemetery on Main Street, south of the St. Francis Barracks. As part of the ceremony, the names of all deceased veterans who have passed since Veterans Day will be read.
