Eaton Buys UK-based Oxalis Group; Terms Not Disclosed - Quick Facts

Power management company Eaton Corp. plc (ETN) said it has acquired UK-based safety technology manufacturer Oxalis Group Ltd. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxalis manufactures closed-circuit TV camera stations, public address/general alarm systems and other electrical products for the hazardous area, marine, and industrial communications markets. Oxalis employs about 40 people and has two manufacturing sites in the UK.

In a separate statement, Eaton said it will announce its fourth quarter 2014 earnings on Tuesday, February 3, 2015, before the opening of the New York Stock Exchange.

The company will host a conference call at 10 a.m. Eastern time that day to discuss fourth quarter 2014 earnings results with securities analysts and institutional investors.
