Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

You want outlet stores? Empire Outlets will give you outlet stores. WWD has released the names of several tenants that have signed on for the city's first-ever outlet mall that's slated to debut on Staten Island by Black Friday 2016, and it's more or less your typical roster: Big names including Gap Outlet, Banana Republic Factory Store, and Guess Factory Store will be joining the huge Nordstrom Rack.

The paper also mentioned that White House Black Market, Innovation Luggage, Columbia Sportswear Co., Wilsons Leather, G.H. Bass & Co., Lids, and Obey Your Body skin care will claim space here, though it's not clear whether these are regular or outlet stores (H&M is opening a 26,000-square-foot non-outlet store). Together, these ten new names will take up 100,000 square feet of retail space.

Walgreens and Haagen Dazs have also signed on, as well as some unspecified "other eateries" for the complex that'll include a baseball field and a massive Ferris wheel.

While most of these names are standard fare for the outlet scene, there could still be surprises in store: Back in the summer, a founder of the real estate firm developing the mall said that "high-end European fashion brands" would be included along with "the usual suspects."
