Great Southern officers sell shares

Two Great Southern Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: GSBC) officers sold shares and exercised rights to purchase stock this week.

Steven Mitchem, senior vice president and chief lending officer, on April 27 sold 5,250 shares at $39.95 apiece for a total of $209,738. He also exercised an option to purchase 5,250 shares at $30.34 apiece, or $159,285, according a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Also on April 27, Great Southern Vice President of Information Systems Linton Thomason sold 2,250 shares at $40.02 apiece for $90,243, and optioned to purchase 2,250 shares at $30.34, or $68,265, according to a separate SEC filing.

Great Southern posted first-quarter earnings available to common shareholders of $11.5 million, a 32.7 percent jump.

GSBC shares were trading at $39.95 as of 10:51 a.m., compared to a 52-week range of $28 to $41.41.[[In-content Ad]]
