Target's C9 Champion in Life Time Fitness' C9 Challenge

American retailing company Target, in association with fitness centre chain Life Time Fitness, has launched a new innovative fitness programme C9 Challenge, featuring the former’s exclusive men’s, women’s and children’s activewear line, C9 Champion.
Due to kick off exclusively at Life Time destinations across the US from May, 2015 onwards, the 39-minute fitness class, which will focus on nine core areas of the body, has been developed in collaboration with the Minnesota-based firm’s fitness experts and the activewear brand’s ambassador, Adam Rosante (author of The 30-Second Body: Eat Clean. Train Dirty. Live Hard).
“The C9 Challenge class we’ve developed with Target’s C9 Champion ambassador Adam Rosante will be social and fun, with a broad appeal for women and men alike yet, and as Adam says, push them to realise they’re stronger than they think they are,” Life Time national senior director of group fitness, Kimberly Spreen-Glick, said while speaking on the new collaborative fitness programme in a media statement.
Rosante said, “This new Life Time class smashes the notion that you need to spend lot of time at the club to get a solid workout. We all want to look good and feel great in class, and Target’s exclusive line of C9 Champion activewear can deliver that at a great price without sacrificing on performance.”
Each C9 Challenge class will begin with a dynamic warm up, followed by three fitness blocks focused on upper body (chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps), lower body (quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes) and core, followed by a one minute cardio burst to drive the heart up and ensure a metabolic after burn.
The C9 Champion line features performance-driven capris, fitted knee pants, tank tops, sports bra and hipster briefs, all made using stretchy moisture-wicking fabrics. (PB)
