Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) Fell To An 11-Month Low On Forecast

Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) reported second quarter adjusted EPS of $3.00 Thursday morning, which topped the consensus estimate of $2.95. Sales were $1.27 billion, which matched expectations.

Full year 2015 sales are expected to be between $5.15 billion and $5.20 billion, compared to its previous guidance of $5.15 billion to $5.25 billion. The company reaffirmed its EPS guidance of $11.50 to $11.90. Analysts expect EPS of $11.70 on revenue of $5.17 billion.

Alliant Techsystems steadily declined until midday Thursday. The stock finished down by 11.15 at $110.19 on the highest volume in nearly 5 months. Alliant Techsystems plunged to over an 11-month low.
