Skin care entrepreneurs and GlamGlow founders Glenn and Shannon Dellimore have purchased an Encino home formerly owned by singer-songwriter Ashlee Simpson for $5.45 million.

A fountain with a modern art sculpture marks the entrance of the gated home, set at the end of a cul-de-sac in the Royal Oaks neighborhood. The 9,005 square feet of living space are highlighted by a two-story entry hall with dual staircases, walls of glass and a 2,200-square-foot master suite.

Among amenities is a meditation room, a gym with skylights, a double-island kitchen and media room. There are two laundry rooms, four bedrooms and seven bathrooms in all.

Outdoors, landscaped grounds of more than an acre contain an infinity-edge pool, a spa and a large entertainer’s space. Elsewhere are a pair of two-car garages.

Simpson, whose husband, Evan Ross, recently listed his own house in Hollywood Hills West for sale, sold the home in 2006 for $4.5 million. The property returned to the market in November with an asking price of $5.9 million.

Carol Wolfe of Rodeo Realty and Gayle Pritchett of Pritchett-Rapf Realtors were the listing agents. Paul Daftarian of KR Homes, Newport Beach, represented the buyers in the sale, which closed Thursday.

The Dellimores founded the Hollywood-based GlamGlow, a high-end skin care brand, in 2010. The company was acquired by Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. for an estimated price of $100 million to $125 million in December.
