Bayville Man Found With 46 Bags Of Heroin In Lacey Walmart Parking Lot

Timothy Daff, Jr., also had an outstanding warrant, police say.

Something didn’t look right that night to Lacey Patrolman Anthony Sarno while he was patrolling the Walmart parking lot on Route 9 North in Lanoka Harbor.

Sarno observed some suspicious activity at 8:20 p.m. on April 20. Further investigation at the scene determined that store employee Timothy Daff, Jr., 20, Bell Street, Bayville had an outstanding warrant $150 warrant from Evesham Township, Police Chief David A. Paprota said.

Sarno arrested Daff on the warrant, then also discovered Daff was in possession of 46 bags of heroin and a hypodermic syringe, the chief said.

Daff was taken to police headquarters, where he was charged with possession of heroin and possession of a hypodermic syringed. He was taken to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, in lieu of $25,000 bail, the chief said.
