Man stole car in Sudbury, then got into accident

Greater Sudbury Police officers are looking for a young man who stole a car Saturday morning, then got into an accident.

In a release, police said officers were called at 9 a.m. about an accident at Grandview Boulevard involving a 2002 grey Chevrolet Tahoe. The male driver left the scene before police got there.

Officers learned the vehicle was stolen a few minutes earlier while parked outside Kathy’s Confectionery located on Frood Road.

They are now looking for the driver, who is described as male, caucasian, early 20s, unshaven dark facial hair, wearing a 3/4 length black jacket, dark hat and dark pants.
