October 29, 2013 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Real Salt Lake News Release

SANDY, Utah (Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013) - Real Salt Lake announced today that it has partnered with LifeVantage (NASDAQ: LFVN) for a long-term, multi-million dollar jersey-front sponsorship that ranks among the most groundbreaking such partnerships in Major League Soccer history.

The partnership will formally go into effect on Jan. 1, 2014, with the LifeVantage logo appearing on the Real Salt Lake jersey starting next season, Real Salt Lake's 10th in MLS.

"We're thrilled to partner with LifeVantage for our jersey-front sponsorship," Real Salt Lake President Bill Manning said. "LifeVantage is showing tremendous commitment to Real Salt Lake with this partnership. We're excited to welcome them to what we call 'the RSL Family' and we relish the opportunity to continue to grow the Club and the sport with such a vibrant locally-based and growing company by our side."

LifeVantage Corporation (Nasdaq: LFVN), a company dedicated to helping people achieve healthy living through a combination of a compelling business opportunity and scientifically validated products, simultaneously announced that it has entered into the partnership, one of the largest of its kind in Real Salt Lake's nine-year history. LifeVantage and RSL - which celebrates its 10th season in 2014 - completed the deal in an incredible span of just 34 days.

"I could not be more excited about the partnership between our two organizations," said LifeVantage President and Chief Executive Officer Douglas C. Robinson. "This is a tremendous opportunity for LifeVantage to partner with such a respected organization in Real Salt Lake. As Major League Soccer popularity continues to grow, the LifeVantage brand will benefit from high-impact exposure in stadiums, on television, in advertising and player appearances across the country and around the world. This is truly an exciting and proud moment for LifeVantage."

LifeVantage joins a group of MLS jersey-front sponsors including Xbox, Volkswagen, UnitedHealthcare, Alaska Airlines and Quaker Oats Company, among others, as one of 16 corporations emblazoned across one of the 19 soccer jerseys in the United States/Canada top-flight division.

Real Salt Lake's partnership with LifeVantage marks an end to the jersey-front sponsorship between the Club and XANGO. RSL and XANGO made history in 2006 by partnering for the first jersey-front sponsorship in U.S.-based major league sports.

"Real Salt Lake and XANGO are proud of the history we made in 2006 when we announced the first jersey-front sponsorship in U.S.-based major league sports," said XANGO Founder and CEO Gordon Morton. "This bold deal set a precedent for Major League Soccer, and many similar deals followed suit, helping solidify high-level professional soccer in the U.S. and Canada for many years to come.

With Major League Soccer's longest active postseason streak now at six seasons, Real Salt Lake will begin its 2013 MLS Cup Playoff run on Sunday, Nov. 3, facing two-time defending MLS Cup champion Los Angeles Galaxy on the road in the first leg of this year's Western Conference Semifinals. The Claret-and-Cobalt will host the second leg of the West Semis at Rio Tinto Stadium the following week (date/time/TV still TBD). Tickets to the West Semifinals second leg at Rio Tinto Stadium are currently on sale to the general public; fans can purchase tickets to the match at the Rio Tinto Stadium box office, online at www.RealSaltLake.com/Tickets or over the phone at 801-727-2700, with Playoff pricing at a preferred rate for current 2013 and future 2014 RSL season ticket holders.
