Therma-Flite Announces That Joshua Scott Has Joined the Company as Chief Marketing Officer

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

Therma-Flite, one of the leading innovators of technology for resource recovery, today announced that Joshua Scott joins the company in the position of chief marketing officer. He will serve on the executive management team reporting to president and CEO Mike Potter and will focus on strategic marketing and all aspects of the marketing function to leverage the full scope of Therma-Flite's capabilities, products, services and the Therma-Flite brand.

Joshua Scott joins the company from GE Oil and Gas (formerly Dresser, Inc.), where he served for five years as product line leader in the global valve business with responsibility for P&L, strategic planning, new product development process and market opportunity development. Prior to GE, Scott served as director of global marketing processes for Kennametal Corporation where he led emerging market opportunity development as well as internal LEAN process improvements that drove significant efficiencies and cost out of the business. Prior to Kennametal, Scott served in manufacturing, then strategic marketing roles with progressive responsibility at Flowserve Corporation. Earlier in his career he held positions as a metals technologist and instructor with the US Air Force focused on programs that ensured readiness of advanced aerospace weapon systems.

Scott holds an MBA with concentrations in leadership and finance from the University of Baltimore—Merrick School of Business and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology from Southern Illinois University College of Engineering.
