It looks like a website called Hardware Battle has gotten their hands onto an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti video card and have posted up a GPU-Z screen shot to prove it. The GPU-Z screen shot shows that the unreleased NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti has 2,816 CUDA cores and 6GB GDDR5 Hynix memory on a 384-bit interface. The base clock of the GTX 980 Ti appears to be 1000 MHz with a boost clock of 1076 MHz. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X has 3,072 CUDA Cores and has a base clock of 1000MHz with a 1075MHz boost. Notice that the number of ROPs was covered up in the posted image. Could there be a reduction in the number of ROPs? The GeForce GTX Titan X has 96 while the GeForce GTX 980 has 64.

Hardware Battle has also posted up a number of benchmarks that show off the performance of the GeForce GTX 980 Ti as well. Hardware Battle appears to be based in South Korea and they obviously aren’t under embargo as they are posted up all sorts of information and benchmarks before everyone else is able to do so.
