HONOLULU - January 15, 2015 - Hawaiian Airlines has announced the appointment of Tina Larson as director - online travel agencies and distribution. In this newly created position, Larson will be responsible for overseeing management of Hawaiian Airlines' online travel agency (OTA) partnerships and global distribution strategy.

"Tina's extensive experience in travel industry sales is well-suited to help us accomplish our sales goals as we continue to expand our business domestically and internationally," said Theo Panagiotoulias, Hawaiian Airlines senior vice president - global sales & alliances. "OTAs have become an important distribution channel for Hawaiian Airlines, and we look forward to her leadership in this key area of our business."

Larson brings 19 years of travel industry experience in sales and marketing to Hawaiian Airlines. Prior to joining the company, she served as a strategy, market research and business development consultant to clients such as the Hawai'i Visitors & Convention Bureau and Maui Divers Jewelry. She also previously worked at Expedia, Inc. as a regional manager - operations & sales where she oversaw management of 22 concierge desks across the Hawaiian Islands, leading a staff of 100 employees. Other past work experience includes serving various key loyalty marketing and revenue management positions at Northwest Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.

Larson earned a bachelor's degree in Public Relations from the University of North Dakota and Juris Doctor degree from the William Mitchell College of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota. In 2011, Expedia recognized her with the Rising Star Award for her professional accomplishments.
