SAM_AND_CAT_1_GALLERYViacom International Media Networks is launching 4Teen, a new kids and teens cable net, in France.

4Teen is a French version of the US Teenick service. It will have Nick shows including Sam & Cat, Every Witch Way, Victorious and iCarly.

The channel will have content skewed to kids aged 7-to-14 years-old. It will sit alongside the Nickeloden and Nickelodeon Jr. channels in France as well as VIMN’s other cable nets, which include MTV, Game One and Paramount Channel.

The new service will roll out on November 19 on the Canalsat and Numericable pay TV platforms.

Raffaele Annecchino, executive VP & managing director, VIMN South Europe, Africa and Middle East said: “The addition of Nickelodeon 4Teen is a perfect complement as it solidifies our position in the market with Nickelodeon Jr. and My Nickelodeon Jr. focused on preschoolers, and Nickelodeon and now Nickelodeon 4Teen both aimed at kids aged 7-14.”
