Who's hiring in Huntsville? See top employers by most online job ads in April

SAIC was the top Huntsville-area employer with the most online job postings last month, according to a new Help Wanted Online report published by the Alabama Department of Labor.

ADOL, which reported a 5.8 percent statewide unemployment rate, said there were 6,766 total online job ads for the month, a 13.87 percent increase from March. More than 3,700 were new listings.

Heavy- and tractor-trailer truck drivers remained the most-wanted profession in the Huntsville metro with 477 openings, followed by software developers/applications (212) and industrial engineers (159). Network and computer systems administrators (152), first-line supervisors of retail sales workers (149) and aerospace engineers (131) were also in high demand.
