Boston Private Bank & Trust Company Hires Carol J. Katzman as VP, Residential Mortgage Lending
Encino, Calif. — Boston Private Bank & Trust Company, a leading wealth management and private banking company, announces Carol J. Katzman has joined the company as Vice President, Residential Mortgage Lending.
Based in Boston Private’s Encino location, Katzman’s primary focus is to provide high-end jumbo mortgage solutions to existing and new clients, as well as seek out opportunities to offer the Bank’s wide array of services. Boston Private’s Residential Lending offerings include jumbo portfolio mortgages, conforming loans, construction loans, home equity loans and community homeowner programs.
Katzman brings more than 20 years of residential lending experience to her new role. Her exceptional underwriting skills have enabled her to close complex high-end transactions quickly and seamlessly in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Malibu, San Fernando Valley, Santa Monica, Brentwood, Pacific Palisades and Westlake.

In her prior positions, Katzman served as Vice President of Residential Lending-Entertainment at City National Bank as well as a Premium Loan Consultant at HSBC and Senior Vice President at Platinum Capital Group. She has also served on the Malibu Board of Realtors. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of California, Berkeley.
