FREMONT — Service for Betty Lousberg, 86, of Fremont will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont with the Rev. Dan Heuer officiating and burial in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, with family present 4-7 p.m., at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont and continue at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She died Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at Fremont Health Medical Center.

Betty was born April 28, 1928, at Winside to William and Martha (Hungenberg) Dangberg. She graduated from Winside High School and attended Wayne State Teachers College at Wayne.

Betty married Gene Behmer April 11, 1948, in Winside. They moved to Fremont in 1966. Gene preceded her in death in 1986. Betty was a legal secretary for a Fremont law office and was an accountant at Valmont Industries for 30 years. Betty married Deryle Lousberg Aug. 27, 1994, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Fremont.

She belonged to and was the bookkeeper for Lifeline for the Hospital Auxiliary. Betty was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Red Hat Society, as well as numerous bridge clubs.

Betty is survived by her husband, Deryle Lousberg of Fremont; daughters Suzanne and husband Jerome Eulberg of Omaha and Deanna and husband Larry Reed of Glendale, Ariz.; stepson Wade and wife Claudia Lousberg of Winchester, Calif.; four grandchildren, Jessica and Jennifer Reed, Jillian Eulberg, Thomas Eulberg and wife Meghan; as well as six great-grandchildren, Jaren and Keaton Reed, Gavin Reed, Hazley, Mazlyn and Kenzal Eulberg; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband Gene Behmer, brother Gilbert Dangberg and sisters Lisetta Bowers and Dorothy Stevens and stepson Chris Lousberg.

Death notices, which include information about when and where a person died, funeral services, burial and visitation for the deceased and memorial information, are published free of charge.

If families of the deceased desire to have an obituary printed, there is a fee charged for doing so. Because of that, families of the deceased can decide what information they want included in the obituary, as well as if they desire to have a photograph of the deceased published along with it. The Daily News reserves the right to edit.
