Mike Nichols, 83, directed the Academy Award-winning movie “The Graduate” and “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” He won Emmys for staging TV versions of the plays “Wit” and “Angels in America,” along with eight Tony awards for his theater work. Died Nov. 19.
