St. Jude Medical Inc. (STJ) Dropped To A 10-Month Low After Q3 Report

St. Jude Medical Inc. (STJ) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.97 Wednesday morning, up from $0.90 in the prior year period. Analysts expected EPS of $0.96. The company expects to report fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $1.02 to $1.04 and between $3.97 and $3.99 for the full year. The consensus estimates are for EPS of $1.04 and $3.98.

St. Jude Medical gapped open sharply lower Wednesday, but traded in a range for the bulk of the session. Shares finished with a loss of 2.63 at $57.28, with volume at a 6-month high. The stock sank to a 10-month low.
