El Paso Chihuahuas Announce Nationally Televised Game

EL PASO - May 18, 2015 -The El Paso Chihuahuas home game versus the Iowa Cubs on May 31st will be carried on the American Sports Network (ASN) as part of the Minor League Baseball Sunday Showcase. First pitch has been moved to 5:05 p.m.
"We are honored to have Southwest University Park as the spotlight for the first nationally televised game on May 31st," said Chihuahuas General Manager, Brad Taylor. "We encourage all of El Paso to pack the house and show the United States what kind of a fan base we have."
The seasoned broadcast crew of Dave Armstrong (play-by-play), Keith Moreland (analyst), and Brian McRae (analyst) will call the action.
ASN is part of the Sinclair Broadcast Group and has affiliates in more than 150 markets nationwide with a reach of 30 million households. Sinclair is the parent company for KFOX and CBS 4 Local. The game will most likely be aired on Retro TV (R-TV) available on Time Warner Cable -channel 14.2.

The game will feature Kid's Day Sunday presented by Telemundo, El Paso Inc., Hit 104.3, La Zeta, Planeta, Radio Centro. The first 2,000 kids 12 and under with paid admission and in attendance will receive a Chico light switch plate and kids can run the bases post game presented by Sierra Providence Health Network.
