Wells Fargo Awards CEO Stumpf $1 Million in Restricted Stock

Wells Fargo & Co. awarded Chief Executive Officer John Stumpf $1 million in restricted equity awards as part of his pay for 2014 when the firm posted record profit.

The 18,061 stock units were granted Feb. 24, when the firm’s shares closed at $55.37, according to a regulatory filing Thursday. The CEO’s total pay will be disclosed later this year. It amounted to $19.3 million for 2013.
