More broadly, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1.3%, the Nasdaq increased 1.3% and the S&P 500 pushed 1.3% higher.

• Tenet Healthcare Corp (THC): THC stock is up 2.7% today.

• Novo Nordisk A/S (NVO): NVO stock is up 2.7% today.

• West Pharmaceutical Services (WST): WST stock is up 2.6% today.

• Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (VRX): VRX stock is up 2.5% today.

• Wellcare Group (WCG): WCG stock is up 2.3% today.

• Charles River Laboratories Intl (CRL): CRL stock is up 2.2% today.

• Mckesson Corp (MCK): MCK stock is up 2.2% today.

• Acadia Pharmaceuticals Inc (ACAD): ACAD stock is up 2.1% today on 3 times normal volume.

• Cardinal Health (CAH): CAH stock is up 2.1% today.

Some of the biggest losers among healthcare stocks include:

• Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd (RDY): RDY stock is down 0.1% today.

• Carefusion Corp (CFN): CFN stock is down 0.1% today on 8 times normal volume.
