Macy’s was cited after a small explosion burned four workers at the store`s State Street location.

An investigation found that one of the workers tried to use a ‘camper cooker’ to prepare breakfast before the store opened.

That’s when a small butane tank ruptured.

A woman suffered serious burns on her face. Three men also sustained injuries.

The fire prevention bureau cited the store for improperly storing and using butane.
