Gartner Puts Unify in Leaders Quadrant of Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony

Gartner has long positioned itself as one of the leaders in the tech sector when it comes to industry analysis. That is why Unify was so proud to announce that it is one of the companies now in the Leaders quadrant of the “Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony.” By being listed in that quadrant, the company has shown it is in an improved position when talking about its flagship solution known as OpenScape.


That particular solution has been graded by Gartner (News - Alert) on a number of different factors including "Completeness of Vision" and "Ability to Execute” in the Leaders quadrant. Being graded like this by a company like Gartner is especially rewarding for Unify because it means the company has successfully made the transition form a firm that was hardware oriented to one that is a supplier of software.

This is not the first time that Unify has been mentioned as a company that qualifies for the Leaders quadrant of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Corporate Telephony and Unify’s CEO Bill Hurley was quick to point that out in the statement he made about the award. "We made the commitment to transform to a SaaS (News - Alert) company, to become more channel focused, and to streamline our organization in order to properly position ourselves to be an industry leader. We believe our hard work is paying off. We're committed to continuing to develop new innovative ways for teams to collaborate.” Hurley added.

In order to qualify for this honor, Unify had to score quite high in a number of different graded areas. The company announced that it managed to score 4.27 out of 5 for its centralized architecture of OpenScape and it scored 4.26 out of 5 for its Distributed Architecture. In addition to OpenScape Xpert, which is a multi-line communications solution, the company has OpenScape Health Station, which is a bedside terminal that is able to streamline clinical access while enhancing patient experience.
