Nick Fradiani of Connecticut Advances on American Idol 2015

Fradiani, who formed a band in Milford, wowed celebrity judges including Jennifer Lopez with his performance Thursday night.

Nick Fradiani, of Guilford, told American Idol’s Ryan Seacrest that he was at a “loss for words,” after receiving the golden ticket advancing him to the Hollywood round of American Idol.

“I’m at a loss for words, it’s pretty unbelievable, it’s a crazy experience,” Fradiani said. “California here we come.”

Fradiani appeared on the popular long-running Fox reality television show with his girlfriend, Yanni G., 23, of Newington.
