Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) reported fourth quarter EPS of $1.58 Wednesday morning, up from $1.40 a year ago. Analysts expected EPS of $1.52.
Costco Wholesale gapped open sharply higher Wednesday and took out the session highs around mid-afternoon. Shares ended the day with a gain of 3.46 at $128.73 on above average volume. The stock climbed past the upper end of a 1-month range and set a new high for the year.
