UW-Fox Valley Foundation Board welcomes two new members

Wisconsin

MENASHA –

Dr. Richard Gosse

and

Dr. Bobby Yun

are the newest additions to the

UW-Fox Valley Foundation board of directors.

Gosse

Gosse, a UW-Madison/Marquette University graduate who retired from dentistry in 2009, has a long history of community involvement with the Appleton City Council, the Outagamie County Dental Society, First Congregational United Church of Christ in Appleton, Appleton West High School and board of directors appointments with United Way, Outagamie County Cancer Society, Wisconsin Dental Association Insurance Committee, Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust, and Outagamie County. He also served on the UWFV board of trustees for eight years. Gosse is currently a member of the Land Committee for the Northeast Wisconsin Land Trust as well as a citizen member of the Outagamie County Health and Human Services board of directors. Another UW-system alumnus, Yun earned his undergraduate at Lawrence University, his medical degree at UW-Madison, and has now come full circle by joining the UW-Fox Valley Foundation Board. The president/owner of Urgent Care Physicians in Appleton, Yun is currently a member of the American Academy of Family Practice, the American Medical Association and the Urgent Care Association of America. He will also continue to serve as a diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, a post he has held since 2006.

ThedaCare has welcomed Dr. Sheila Thiel, a senior care specialist, to provide mobile care in geriatric medicine. Thiel earned her bachelor's degree at Pepperdine University and received her medical degree at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She is board-certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine. Thiel follows a patient-centric approach and believes that caring for people with chronic or complex conditions is both challenging and rewarding.

Five new community members have joined the ThedaCare board of trustees. The corporate board serves as the governing body for the community-owned health care organization. The board's new members are Tim Bergstrom of Bergstrom Automotive; Mark Burstein of Lawrence University; Kristin Galatowitsch of Galatowitsch Law Office in Princeton; Jim Kotek of the Menasha Corp.; and Terry Timm of Thrivent Financial. Jon Stellmacher serves as board chairman while Dr. Jeffrey Whiteside is board secretary.

NEENAH – Miron Construction Co. has announced the recent hires of two new members to its headquarters in Neenah. Jennifer Tomazevic serves as a project accountant. She is responsible for duties such as processing billing transactions in support of construction projects and monitoring project modification pricing. She holds an associates degree in accounting from Fox Valley Technical College and has 15 years of experience working in the construction industry. Laurie Mayer serves as an accounting coordinator. Mayer assists with the overall operations financial processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll. She earned an associates degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College and brings 34 years of experience in sales and customer service to Miron.

GREEN BAY –

PMI Entertainment Group

has hired

Carly Cuene

as human resources recruiter. In addition to her primary role of recruiting new employees, Cuene also assists with employee benefits and the company's wellness program. Most recently, Cuene was a corporate recruiter at Shopko. PMI Entertainment Group facilitates entertainment and recreational opportunities in northeastern Wisconsin through its management of the Meyer Theatre, Brown County Veterans Memorial Complex and through its ownership of the Green Bay Gamblers hockey team. PMI also produces shows and events, including The Wedding Show, Sweet Street and the Northeast Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival.

has accepted a newly created marketing specialist position at Appleton-based

Integrity Insurance.

Haddock

Previously, Haddock held the role of marketing and public relations manager at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center in Appleton. Haddock will be responsible for external marketing, public relations and communications activity at Integrity, providing strategy and executing plans that engage Integrity agents and policyholders. A graduate of UW-Oshkosh, Haddock holds a bachelor of arts degree journalism with an emphasis in advertising and public relations.

APPLETON –

Maria Nelson

of

Red Shoes PR Inc.,

a northeast Wisconsin public relations agency, has been promoted from senior account executive to a new role as account director. Nelson, who has been with the company since 2008, has more than a decade of public relations experience and specializes in health care communications and crisis communications. In her time at Red Shoes, the Marquette University graduate has provided guidance on some of the company's largest and most complex accounts. In her new role, she will provide more strategic oversight for agency clients.

has joined

information technology team as a database engineer, responsible for designing, documenting and implanting strategies using SQL components. He will also be developing a data warehouse infrastructure. Signoretti comes to Goodwill from Oshkosh Corp., where he was a senior business analyst. He's also been a database programmer analyst with Albemarle County (Va.) Public Schools, a business intelligence developer with Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co., and a data warehouse developer with Capital One. Signoretti holds a bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, NY
