It sounds like Lindsay Lohan really understands that she is looking at jail time if she screws up again. We told you earlier that she had failed to complete her mandatory hours of community service after already being granted one extension. Basically, Lilo was prepared to stroll into court Jan. 28 with another round of excuses until someone made her understand that it is unlikely to work again. If she does not get herself together, she will likely have per probation violated and will be sitting in a jail cell. The fallen star is now reportedly scrambling to finish her hours to avoid jail.
According to a report by TMZ, "We're told Lindsay went to the Community Service Volunteers in London Friday and Saturday, and her plan was to go Sunday ... and Monday and Tuesday. She's been delinquent 15 days and must finish them by court Wednesday morning. She says she'll get it done."
Lilo originally was ordered to complete 30 days of community service by Nov. 6 last year but only managed to finish half of it. This was in connection with her slamming into an 18-wheeler in 2012. In November, the judge showed her some mercy and gave her an extension, but those close to the case believe her luck has run out. Lilo will face a new judge later this week and her hours better be completed.
Ironically, legal troubles seem to have been the furthest thing from the actress's mind up until the last few days. She was recently hospitalized for Chikungunya, which she contracted while vacationing in Bora Bora. She also posted a NSFW selfie that was reportedly photoshopped to make her seem thinner.
