GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan—Ranir, a global leader in private label consumer oral and personal health care products, has announced that Dr. Stephen Thong has joined the leadership team as vice president of global technology and development.
Dr. Thong, who holds a PhD in chemistry from Northwestern University, has 20 years of international product development experience. He comes to Ranir after long-term leadership roles at Church & Dwight Company and Gillette. His key focus at Ranir will be on building the company’s global technology and development team and growing Ranir’s technological capabilities.

Dr. Thong has been at the forefront of many new product launches that has included toothpastes, toothbrushes, OTC drugs, shaving preparations and skin care products for major brands such as Gillette, Arm & Hammer and Orajel. He has secured multiple patents in the OTC drug and personal care categories.
