Home Depot Inc. (HD) Broke Out To A New High On Strong Q4 Earnings

Home Depot Inc. (HD) reported fourth quarter adjusted EPS of $1.00 Tuesday morning, which surpassed the consensus estimate of $0.89. Full year 2015 adjusted EPS is expected to be between $5.11 and $5.17. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $5.23.

Home Depot gapped open sharply higher Tuesday, but traded in a range for the majority of the session. The stock closed up by 4.47 at $116.75, with volume at a 4-month high. Home Depot broke out of a week and a half long trading range and set a new high for the year.
