5K CARB LOAD - Noodles & Company in Shrewsbury will host a carb load fundraiser April 11, the day before the Shrewsbury Public Schools 5K. Twenty percent of the sales from the day will go to Shrewsbury Public Schools.

TRUNK SHOW SOIREE - The Shrewsbury Education Foundation (SEF) will welcome spring with a peek at fresh fashions and accessories at its Trunk Show Soirée, Saturday, April 11 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Sumner House in Shrewsbury. Presented by Hair-Lines, the show will feature trends for men and women from local boutiques and a national retailer. The event is co-hosted by The Sumner House, The Treasure Chest, Heart & Stone Jewelry and Men's Wearhouse. Struck Catering is serving treats and wine and craft beers will be available. VNA CARE BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP - VNA Care Network & Hospice offers a free bereavement support group for adults coping with the loss of a loved one due to death.
