Yardley School in Tyseley remains shut after warehouse fire

A Birmingham school is to remain closed until next week following a suspected arson attack on a neighbouring warehouse.
The fire started in Reddings Lane, Tyseley, in the early hours of Monday, causing debris to fall on the Yardley School site.
It was the third suspected arson attack on the industrial estate in a week
The school said the site had to be made safe and was not expected to reopen until 7 October.
Headteacher Rose Hughes said the "hazardous" debris had to be removed by a specialist contractor, while a large portion of the school had also been cordoned off to allow surrounding buildings to be demolished.
At its height, more than 70 firefighters tackled the blaze, which severely damaged seven business units and caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.
