A Rhode Island holiday tradition, experience the theater magic with your whole family at Trinity Rep's A Christmas Carol.
This year's production is directed by Taibi Magar and will feature resident acting company member Fred Sullivan, Jr. as Scrooge.

Dia de los Muertos at the Worcester Art Museum
The Worcester Art Museum's will celebrate Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a Community Day on Saturday, November 1, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This vibrant festival celebrates life with altars, live music, cultural performances, and activities for children reflecting the traditions associated with this Mexican holiday that remembers the lives of family members and friends who have died.
An Evening of Illumination at Old Sturbridge Village
November 8
The annual Evening of Illumination is the one time each year visitors can experience an evening in the Village the way it was in the 1800s.
Explore a time without electricity and street lights. Take in the captivating scenes of an early New England village lit only by candles, oil lamps, and fireplaces.
Tours will be offered to select buildings around the Village, and the night will be capped off with refreshments in the Bullard Tavern, including mulled cider and a cash bar. Tours are limited to 15 guests each and leave the Visitor Center every 10 minutes from 6:00 p.m. through 7:30 p.m.

Italian Holiday Cooking at Tower Hill Botanic Garden

The recipes are handed down from generation to generation. In this class you will learn to make, and will taste, Italian White, Chocolate Italian, Paparats (molasses spice) and Pizzelles (thin wafer) cookies.

Join your motormen in singing traditional Christmas carols as the trolley makes its way through the "Tunnel of Lights". Returning to the Visitor Center, it's always a race to get into the warmth and enjoy a nice steaming cup of hot cocoa as you listen to the entertainment and admire all the model trains and displays.
