Duane Parnham was board chair of Namibia offshore explorer UNX Energy when it was amicably acquired by HRT Participacoes em Petroleo S.A. of Brazil earlier this year. Now it appears that the agriculture sector is Mr. Parnham's latest stop. Last month, he joined the board of IC Potash Corp. and he wasted little time in buying company stock. On July 25, he purchased 100,000 shares in the public market at $1.30. IC's flagship project is its Ochoa polyhalite deposit in New Mexico.
