Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT), the world’s biggest toymaker, agreed to buy Canadian partner Mega Brands Inc. (MB) for $460 million, including debt, to expand in building sets. Mattel, Inc. (NASDAQ:MAT) stock opened at $36.94 in last trading session, and closed at $37.15, trading in the range of $36.75 – $37.16. The stock showed a positive weekly performance of 4.50%.

Analysts at Imperial Capital decreased their price objective on shares of LeapFrog Enterprises (NYSE:LF) from $9.00 to $8.00 in a research report issued to clients and investors on Wednesday, Analyst Ratings.Net reports. Share price of JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ:JAKK)surged around 23% on Feb 26, 2014 after it posted narrower year over year loss. Malibu, Calif.-based toy maker, JAKKS Pacific’s loss of 50 cents per share (adjusted for a one-time non-cash charge related to the impairment of deferred tax assets) in the fourth quarter of 2013 bettered the Zacks Consensus Estimate of a loss of 87 cents per share and the year-ago loss of $1.24. A better-than-expected top line performance and lower expenses boosted the bottom line in the quarter. JAKKS Pacific, Inc. (NASDAQ:JAKK) stock opened at $6.82 in last trading session and closed at $7.22. The 52 week range of the stock is $4.45 – $12.21 and the day range was $6.54 – $7.43.
