The iShares North American Tech ETF (IGM) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 59,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 28,000. Shares of IGM were down about 0.3% on the day.
Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Friday were Blackberry (BBRY), trading up about 2.7% with over 21.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Apple (AAPL), off about 0.6% on volume of over 21.1 million shares. Skyworks Solutions (SWKS) is the component faring the best Friday, up by about 5% on the day, while Diodes (DIOD) is lagging other components of the iShares North American Tech ETF, trading lower by about 5.2%.
