Oracle Corp. (ORCL) reported third quarter adjusted EPS of $0.68 after the close Tuesday, which was in line with analysts' expectations. Oracle also announced a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share, a 25% increase over the current quarterly dividend.
Oracle gapped open sharply higher Wednesday, but gave back some gains during the first 2 hours of trade. The stock finished up by 1.26 at $44.13, with volume at nearly a 3-month high. Oracle climbed to over a 2-week high.
