Kara Sundlun and Palace Theater Hold Book Fair Fundraising Event at Barnes & Noble in Waterbury

WATERBURY – Emmy Award-winning news anchor and WFSB-TV Better Connecticut talk show host Kara Sundlun and the Palace Theater are holding a book discussion and signing at the Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Waterbury, Conn., 235 Union St., on Saturday, April 25 at 2 p.m. Sundlun will be there to promote her book, Finding Dad: From Love Child to Daughter, an inspirational memoir that explores her journey, and the transformation a child’s life takes with the entry of a father.

The book discussion and signing is being featured as part of a book fair fundraiser for the Palace Theater. A portion of all in-store purchases made by book fair supporters that day will benefit the theater’s education initiatives, including its award-winning Broadway based afterschool program. In order for the Palace to receive credit for in-store purchases, customers need to let their cashier know they are supporting the book fair at the point of sale, or they can visit the book fair’s event page on the Palace Theater website, www.palacetheaterct.org, to download a Palace voucher that can be presented during check-out.
