By the looks of things, the pair were having a great time as they sat back and enjoyed the intense match against the Sacramento Kings.

Tom looked casual in a long-sleeved red top, which he teamed with a pair of stonewashed blue jeans.

He was joined by his Saving Private Ryan co-star Ed Burns and the pair looked chuffed with their court-side seats.

Before the game began however, Tom spotted his old pal and Apollo 13 co-star Kevin and immediately jumped up to hug his fellow actor.

Kevin opted for a smart-casual look, dressed in a black long-sleeved top, matching jeans and heavy coat.

As of late, Hollywood megastar Tom seems to be having more fun behind rather than in front of the camera.

Instead of starring in films, the actor has taken quite a liking to producing them.

Fortunately for fans, the multi award-winning star will finally be returning to doing what he does best in April when he reprises the role of Robert Langdon in the screen adaption of Dan Brown's latest best-seller.

The film is expected to be released in December 2015.

Meanwhile, Kevin has recently just wrapped up production on two films - Black Mass and 6 Miranda Drive - both of which he stars in.

The films are set to be released in August.
