TIGER BLOOD: Charlie Sheen is said to be heading for another meltdown [FLYNET]

For the unpredictable Hollywood actor is allegedly being investigated for 'pulling a knife on a dentist'.

TMZ are reporting that the wild (not so) child went beserk while at a clinic after a technician attempted to place a nitrous oxide mask over his mouth.

The LAPD now want to question Charlie after the dentist's attack claims.

Fortunately, no one was injured in the alleged scuffle.

TMZ also report that the technician stated Charlie's bodyguard blabbed "he was high on rock cocaine at the time".

Meanwhile, it's hardly been Charlie's week as the tabloid gold is said to be heading for meltdown after his TV show Anger Management was forced to shut down following a freak accident.

Charlie, 49, fell into the shallow end of his pool, which left him needing emergency stitches.

A spokesman for The Two And A Half Men free spirit said: "Charlie was playing with one of his dogs in the pool and accidentally dove into the shallow end, thinking it was deeper and cut his nose."

Jeff Ballard continued to tell Radar Online: "He was taken to the doctor and got stitches.

"He was out of work for about a week, but was back on Monday morning."

Yet another source reportedly told the US publication: "This sounds like the beginnings of another one of his famous meltdowns."

Marty Singer, Charlie's lawyer, has slammed the allegations as "completely fabricated."

He said: "No bodyguard made the absurd statement to the dentist. Charlie had a bad reaction to the noxious gas put in his mouth and nose."

This latest incident follows Charlie's erratic sacking of his long-term bodyguard, Gil Peled – perhaps for allegedly spilling the news about the coke.

The move was said to "stun" his inner circle, considering Gil had loyally supported Charlie when fired from Warner Bros. and "protected him from some pretty crazy stuff".

While the dad-of-five has a history of drug and alcohol abuse, along with reckless behaviour, his unusual antics truly surfaced in 2011.

During an interview with Good Morning America, the New Yorker proclaimed his brain is "not from this particular realm" and declared he is "bi-winning" when quizzed about possible bipolar.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, Charlie's rep stated: "He had a bad reaction to the nitrous oxide which the dentist administered to him.

"There was no knife involved and there were no illegal drugs involved as well."
