Cook-Godwin Engagement

Mr. Chap Cook, of Macon, and Mrs. Joanna Cochran, of Athens, are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Andrew Ryan Cook, to Betsy Lynne Godwin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joey Godwin, of Dunn, N.C.

The groom-elect is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. H.L. Cartwright, of Tifton, and Mrs. Lucile Cartwright, of Athens, and the paternal grandson of Mrs. Anne Cook and the late Mr. Bill Cook, both of Athens. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business, and is currently employed as an operations analyst at Envestnet.

The bride-elect is the maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Bass, of Roseboro, N.C., and the paternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Harold Godwin, of Dunn, N.C. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting (with a managerial concentration) from the North Carolina State University, and is employed as a senior buyer at Allscripts Healthcare Solutions.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 31, at Mt. Elam Baptist Church, in Roseboro, N.C.
