Dianne Lyons, United Fire CFO, resigns

Dianne Lyons, the chief financial officer of United Fire Group, has resigned.

Cedar Rapids-based United Fire announced Lyons’ resignation Friday, Nov. 14. The insurance company said Lyons resigned to “pursue personal interests.”

Lyons also served as United Fire’s senior vice president.

CEO Randy Ramlo said the company has started a “nationwide search” for Lyons’ replacement.

Assistant Vice President and Controller Kevin Helbing will serve as interim principal financial officer in the meantime.

Shares of United Fire closed down 46 cents to $28.41 Monday.
